There is three Billette Requirements when you want to open a Business in Bali. The first requirement is the size of the Business, which refers to how many employees you are allowed to have on your payroll. For example, if you have ten thousand PHP salaries, and intend to hire four hundred workers, then you may not be eligible to open a Business in Bali. If you do not know the exact calculations of the salaries, then just look up the Bank of the Bali exchange rate and multiply it by ten thousand PHP to get your exact figure. To get a more accurate result, multiply it by your yearly revenue (PHP) and thousand workers.
The second requirement is your location in Bali. This will also depend on your salary, as higher the salary, the more you can pay for rent and operational expenses. Some areas in Bali are very expensive to open a Business in Bali from, while others are affordable but not so luxurious. The two worst areas to open a Business in Bali are the Kuta and Jimbaran Beach areas. Other areas to consider, but not as important, are Ubud, Canggu, Sanur, Seminyak and other parts of Ubud, and the lower part of Jimbaran Beach
Then the third requirement is for a valid business license from the local government. You can obtain this license easily in some of the commercial centers in Bali like Canggu, Jimbaran, Kuta, etc. You can also find the requirements for a business license in your home country before you move to Bali. But if you have no intention of staying in Bali, you don’t need a business license anyway. You can open your Business in Bali with a bare minimum capital.
One blendph last requirement is for a legal certificate stating that the business is legal in Bali. These certificates can be easily procured from the financial institutions in your home country or from an online agency. You may also check with the local government office in your area. The most common document used is the ‘Master Contract’ which is drafted between the parties involved in opening a business. This is the only document that may be required to start a Business in Bali.
After getting all these documents, you can start your business. Before doing so, make sure to check all the existing laws of the area in which you wish to open your business. In some places, you may be required to get a permit, a lease agreement. This document is also called a ‘velopement contract.’ Check it carefully before signing to avoid future hassles.
You may need a Bank Loan, a property tax and a certificate of insurance. These documents will help you open one of the common types of Business in Bali: a Private Limited Company. Depending on the type of Company you choose (for instance a limited liability company), you may need to fill out different papers. For instance, if you run a hotel business, you will be required to fill out an application for a Hotel Management Company.
Before you begin your business, make sure to contact the authorities thoroughly. Some requirements may include a letter from the Indonesian Ministry of Religious Affairs. These documents are usually valid for up to 3 years and can make opening your business much easier. However, if your chosen business does not fit with any of the above requirements, you should not worry.
A lot of small Business in Bali can manage without this requirement. If your idea of a good business does not fit with any of the above, you can try another one. You can even try to fix your business on land. However, you will not be able to do it for free. You will need to rent at least a few hundred dollars to open one of your own Business in Bali.
